The fabric is dark blue, not black. It looks like a brighter blue in my photo than it really is, but it's definitely blue. I guess it's not a deal breaker because it wasn't expensive and it works great, but I wish it matched all my TV components. I'm using it with an older TV in a home office, so I'm not too worried about it. The TV I'm using it with has terrible speakers, so this is a huge improvement for sound quality. It also works well for listening to music from my phone, so I get a double use from it. It was easy to set up and came with all the necessary cables.

I was skeptical about it after reading some of the reviews but I gave it a shot. right out of the box this thing is a little powerhouse.. it’s loud enough to hear clearly three rooms down! Looks good on the wall or on a desk or TV stand. Don’t look cheap ether. Setup was 123 and I like the easy controls. the controller feels cheap but is easy to read and use. don’t drop it it will break. . It tells you what sound mode it’s in but it’s hard to really hear it when the tv is on from a distance when switching between them. The Bluetooth works great and my iPhone had no problem connecting to it. Ok now here is where it gets really good. For the money the sound quality is actually fantastic. But if you like a heavy bass sound this isn’t for you. It’s actually a very balanced sound. Not to tiny and not to much bass. The 3 different sound modes are not very distinctive between each other but if you have a good ear you can pick it up. Movie mode has the most bass sound I think. It would have been nice to be able to control the sound levels yourself but for the money it’s good. It’s better then my old Yamaha sound bar I’m very happy with it. Recommend. Worth the money.

First off. The complaints about the power on etc voice being much too loud have been heard. Now its so quiet as to be pointless even maxxed.. as to overall volume it depends on the device pushing to it and remembering to to turn that up. the tv blasts it painfully. My iPhone enough to enjoy but your not go in a headbang. Great overall sound quality with verdict crisp bass. But not bloom boomthumpa boom. Thank god. The equalizer options leave a bit to be desired. But the stealth mode for late evening early morning viewing of tv is a nice feature. It cuts the side speakers and the deep ranges off and buffers the treble. Remote is intuitive, and of reasonable size. pairs easily. But some phones will take tmore than one new device search but once found all good. So far very pleased.

The sound quality is okay, but at higher volumes it suffers. Not a big deal for me because I purchased this as a replacement for my tower computer sound bar. The ad states it's perfect for this but I disagree. The issue I have is apparently a power saving feature. When there is no sound input for a few minutes the unit turns off automatically. So if you walk away, jump over to a different task, etc. and don't get back in time when you do get back and restart the video or do anything that has sound if you've forgotten to turn the unit back on the next few moments are rather frustrating. And apparently there is no way to adjust the unit to stay on constantly and only turn off when I want it to. But for $50, it will do for now.

I wasn’t sure about this because of the price. However, this was for my bedroom tv because the sound was not good.

I must say that I am extremely happy with this sound bar! It is compact in size but delivers big sound compared to my other much more expensive option. It’s very simple to connect with multiple options (optical, single audio out, Dual (red/white) connect) to meet your needs. It has its own remote included, I haven’t tried to put it on my universal remote.

I also used the Bluetooth feature to connect to other devices.

Overall - great product, great value.

Bought this a few months ago for our new apartment. Unfortunately our move in was delayed due to plumbing issues so we just moved and I unboxed this speaker to set up...
It's been stored in my air-condition closet since Feb but the speaker quality is absolutely terrible. It's very static-y, lots of fuzz in the background. Overall very poor quality. Won't work with the aux or R/W plug in options. The aux feature was the reason I bought the speaker in the first place. Will barely work on Bluetooth.. I'm so upset I didn't unbox and test this product sooner, seeing as I cannot return it now-the window has closed. And it's sush poor quality I wouldn't feel right reselling it to someone else. $40 in the trash :(

I bought this soundbar to help my insomnia. I like to listen to soft relaxing music on You Tube to help me get to sleep, but headphones are really uncomfortable. It took about an hour to configure the bar to get a music output. The manual states that the bar must be within 32 feet of my device. My computer's BT is within 15 feet, but I was still getting "connected -disconnected" repeatedly.. I moved the BT USB device closer with a USB extender cable I had, an now I get a solid connection.I was confused because I was trying to get this to work as a speaker,but somehow, Win 10 sound properties decided that it was a headphone, which screwed me up with the setup. Nothing in the manual prepared me for that little bit of drama..BUT once I finally got the connections right, and got to my DTS equalizer and sound setup, I took out a lot of the default bass and I had crisp, clear sound all night long. So only 4 stars for the setup hassles, poor/incomplete directions, and a heavy default base level.
