This is my go to craft knife
Hands down this is it. This is my main cutting tool for crafting my little cardboard houses. I actually waited for the replacement to come before repairing my haunted house shutters this year because my old -and very well used workpro knife had developed a loose thumb rest. I probably should've ordered 2 or 3 of this older design before it gets discontinued. That cushioned thumb rest is really a pain preventing feature if you plan on using a razor knife as many hours as I do. Plus this knife is faster and stronger than an exacto craft knife for carving up cardboard and styrofoam while being nearly as precise (with enough practice). This is the best knife design I've ever come across for what I do. 95% of all the cardboard (mostly amazon and subaru parts boxes, and styrofoam/cardboard packing materials) were cut up using this workpro knife. There really is a lot of potential in bits of trash with the right knife.

I bought one of these knives a few years back and didn't write a review because I wanted to make sure it would hold up. It held up beautifully until a week or so ago when I lost it. I immediately ordered three more so I wouldn't be without one again. These are terrific. They are set up for single-hand use which I find necessary multiple times a day on most days. The compartment for additional blades does require a little thicker handle than some other utility knives, but (a) it's more than worth it to always have sharp blades on hand (b) it just gives you more to hang onto to begin with. If they don't change their product or their general pricing (not counting inflation of course), I will probably carry one till I die.
